Mighty Words Meant for You

M.E.M.

Crows croaked a cacophony over the crowd.

Dragonflies drown on drowning out the drums.

Each of us ecstatic for this energetic epigraph

Forming a friendship through flowing forms

Growing closer going to remember gathering

Here to hear her sing harmonies wholesomely

I will ingrain this memory. I have you inside my heart.

Just like all the rest.

The kisses, and cuddles, and kick-ass karaoke nights.

Loving you makes life worth living.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Prompt: Keep with the alliteration. Each line alliterates with a different letter. I spent a lot of time on this one. Created: 1/25/24 | Updated: 8/21/24, 9/19/24, 9/27/24 | Finalized: 10/23/24

Alliteration always allocates alphabetic assonances attempting to abbreviate artificially amiable assurances.

And I enjoy them very much!

It was very taxing having to take tons of words and transposing them into a coherent tapestry

Probably prompts provoke a propensity to poeticize.

Do discover and doodle with discomforts you'd die for…. please.

It's definitely a challenge but prettily accomplished, methinks. Thought-provoking and fascinating, the breadth of subjects considered rather less large than initially meets the eye. Excellently rendered with delightful imagery. Thank you for sharing.
