Teddy Bear

Tony36

 Teddy bear

Teddy bear

Snuggly warm

Keeping me safe at night

So I don't come to harm

Teddy bear

Teddy bear

Keeping my nightmares at bay

So I can Slumber in peace

Until the coming day

Teddy bear

Teddy bear

I hold in my arms

As I Slumber

You keep me from harm

Comfort in childhood we have to ask what are our adult Teddy bears? A tender and innocent poem

It's funny how we feel safe with teddy bears.

I tend to sleep with a machete wrapped in velveteen & cling film this time of year, just in case any ghoulies or ghosties stop by .. Nice furry teddies are great for the rest of the year tho' .. just don't tell her .. Neville

I used to love with all my heart the soft toy department in Hamleys London when I was a small child, I used to ride the 88 bus just to visit the store, and when I'm home I still do it every time. Such a memory you have brought with this one. 🧸

I still have my teddy bear from the time I was born Tony. It is over 70 years old.
