THE CARELESS CARPENTER
She said ‘Mend the door’ – I duly obeyed
and commenced the task quite undismayed
but when chiselling away like a frenzied demonic
I cut my thumb and the pain was chronic
I shouted out ‘Christ’ – and that was ironic
for Christ it is said was good at his trade.

I suspect itβs a good thing that He was good at His trade, a reliability we all count on in our fallible days.
Sure is

Excellent.
I nearly missed this one the way you nearly missed the chisel, Michael. Glad I didn't.
He may well have been a good carpenter Michael.
