You don’t see the strings on a puppet nowadays
Technology has made them invisible
Magic it brings, CGI is the craze
Cream in bitter coffee, indivisible

Indivisible black for me !
Yeah, I’m with you. I like my women like I like my coffee, dark and bitter.
Dark and bitter women it sounds so inspiring !
Hold the sweeteners, I always take mine strong and black & with no strings attached .. technology eh' who would have it .. I don't mind a couple of rich teas tho'
Thanks, Neville. I appreciate your comments yeah, like that line from the movie like my coffee like I like my women, strong, dark and bitter.
Good write SB.
Thanks so much Orchi I appreciate your reading comment. Have a wonderful day.
Technology seamlessly integrates into our lives, becoming both magical and omnipresent. The poem seems to highlight how these invisible tools shape our perceptions, much like CGI in movies or cream in coffee. It could be a reminder to us to appreciate the subtle yet profound influence of innovation.
Thank you so much for your reading this poem and for your comments. Yes indeed technology makes a big difference sometimes good and sometimes bad. It alerts us to things that are unseen, but also dampens are vision of those things we should see.
I prefer mine white and sweet.
Thank you for your read of this poem. It is important to me. Yes some do prefer White and some prefer black but it is all in the eye of the beholder.
I’ve been thinking of writing about Big Sugar lately. And I need to contemplate what you’ve just written. Black magic at work?!
Thank you so much for your comments and for your attention to this poem, it is deeply valued. One may take it as they wish white magic, black magic, technology, or nature itself.
Black when I could drink coffee! Now RLS has ruined that, but this poem friend, I will take any way you give it to me! As for the strings on a puppet…so true. 💯 Well done! 🌹👏
Thank you so much, Tristan for your attention to this poem and for your comments, they are most appreciated

Not my cup of tea, but yes a craze, I guess people have forgotten how to use their hands. A wonderful write and subject. 🌹

I can drink coffee anyway it is made for me but my preference is Columbian coffee black with no sugar.
As an aside many years ago when I was working in local government we could not ask for black or white coffee it had to be with milk or without milk.
Andy
Thanks Andy interesting how prejudice pervades even the most distant reaches of language. Your words are always appreciated
