Thoughts inside thoughts
Colors inside orange peelings
The smell of forget me nots
A snapdragon a child’s toy
Fallen castles of sand
A scuffed knee on a little boy
Ink designs on a small girls hand
Black turns to violet
Violets become blue
A curly haired young pilot
A grasshopper zoo

There is something in the poem which took me back in time - looking at world through a child's eyes, fleeting wonders of life and then perhaps peeling the onion - loosing the sense of wondement after each layer. ...
