Yours Truly A. Victim
Because I won’t hurt you, you hurt yourself ..
But then,
you always tend to blame everything on me
don’t you ..
Maybe Just Maybe
The difference and the distances
between resurrection,
resuscitation and reincarnation
are but a mere heartbeat,
a blink and a few breaths away ..

Yes, the first one - KP always blames me of course!
The second one - KP says to me - 'If you believed in reincarnation, I will come back to haunt ya!'
I must say you're saving a lot of ink using 2 dots .. instead of 3 ... each time.
'Go back to sleep now, you're rambling,' says Fido to me.
thank you for dropping in
On ( Maybe) the words are so true, hope the storm has eased ?, enjoyed the read
it has .. and many thanks .. Neville
You are very welcome
Just been there oh so recently... still fuming... two stacks on the Titanic... the remaining ones bellowing in the background.
its a small world .. cheers
So many life experiences are piled up in a few short words, it's like seeing a fragment of the path you followed.
Thank you rin .. that'll do nicely .. Neville
Neville. The first poem so identifiable. I think we all have felt this. So well put in so few words blame, returned for kindness given. The second poem also so true reflections of the same image in different mirrors. Poetic breaths of the air around us.
Many thanks my friend ..
Ahem. *cough, cough* erm, this, THIS is you pissed off? You're such a gentleman at it, I rather wish we were better acquainted. What I actually love about these two dainties is how very eloquent they are, (excepting my fundamental disagreement with the second in one point). Besides, take Genesis 3: who put the blame on his creator? We make our choices but prefer casting the blame on, yes. But if resuscitation and resurrection were siamese twins, there is no hope. Okay, enough of me. Beautifully rendered with a delightfully haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing. (Put on the kettle and have Barry's; it'll give you relative peace of mind in lieu of that piece of mind, if you catch my drift.)
I caught your drift and got happily sucked in .. many thanks Missy ..
Excellent writes Neville
Thanks T .. Neville
You're welcome
Fine writed, Neville. Very astute.
Many thanks Jez ..
I’m leaving the first; there’s too much of it about. Very little ‘me’ in this comment - it’s everywhere.
Second (this mentioned by someone a while back) Anesthesia in hospital links all those for me. Thanks for defining it in that way, Neville.
PS: What is the ‘pissed off’ about?
Thanks for stopping by Dave it just wouldn't be the same without you .. and hey' you know better than to ask a gentleman .. and anyway, the moment has passed .. Neville
The first seems a bit "passive-aggressive" for both the "you" and the 'I.' The second could not be any truer. Administered on time it is "resuscitation," A heartbeat too late and, if successful, "resuscitation" becomes either "reincarnation" or "resurrection." Yeah, but who's counting? Loved 'em both. - Phil A.
You are a diamond Phil .. thank you most kindly and then some sir .. Neville
1. Such a shame if true Neville, I hope all is well.
2. We will never away from life.
