The man

Father was warrior, athlete a man
he fought in war, won games but I never was his fan
He saved lives of many men
and tried to save mine again and again 

Spit out his bit, through off his reigns
warning growls on tracks of an engineer's brains
Voice of thunder to keep me from lightning's kill
Green I kept bucking against his will

Played as a championship game
Took the bullet that had my name
A ghostly cord from the grave
Lifting me from Gorgon womb's cave
