The day came when I had to make a choice.
Nothing simple; one of those life changing choices
That comes to all of us, throughout our lives.
How much would this change my world?
The thought of it sent shivers down my spine.
Chose which one?
Would it be the right choice?
So many memories of bad decisions in my life!
This one has to right!
There was no Laphroaig on the shelf!!
So the choice was Glenmorangie or Jura!

But in this case only one choice is satisfactory Teddy.

I did chose my favourite eventually Tobani, thank you.

You are very welcome
Any one of these plus a cheaper blend for a winter warming Whisker Mac
True Michael but I do like my Laphroaig.

Do I run a wine shop? Hardly anyone buys anything from me. It's the water, you see!
Yes I k now that Orchi, I would NEVER be seen in that shop!

Settling for second best is always disconcerting and although practical not satisfying so we may choose to go out of our way to find the first choice. A fun read with a surprise ending.
Very true soren, I did find my Laphroaig in another shop though. Thank youi.

Brings to mind the oft worn out phrase: ‘spoilt for choice.’ But do we really, alternatively we go for what’s readily available, no real choice there. And we end up with ‘better than nothing.’
Could be very true arqios but in this instance I found it in another shop.

👍🏻
Well, all I have on my shelf is my good old Uncle Jack, maybe will try those another day. Well done.
It may well be worth trying Dan but we all have our own preferences which is great.

Perhaps none of those. It's very hard to choose when there are so many choices. Brilliant in its simplicity and unexpected twist at the ending
THank you r-i-s, much appreeciated.
