arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
🕊 🙏🏻🕊️

Let’s resign from Evolution
fully aware we’re barely aware;

Time’s a-wasting. With Humanity
barely brained to conjure a world
in which people are whole and equal;
mirth bound, and shackled, unrespected,

rarely eloquent beyond objections
amongst billions of biorbital visages,
seeking, queuing and devouring,
riding-cropped delivering oppressors
recharging each new generation, each

an ox, corralled and tagged, chipped;
inoculated to obedience, aware of little.
Their paper machéed cud over-chewed
gum; glazed stares, involuntarily
discharging mindless banter at those
whose warnings have fallen on deaf ears.

      Good write A. Strange place for a train - in a shopping centre. lol.
      I fear - and yet I don't fear really, as it's no surprise, that I don't believe humanity will improve of their own doing. I bring in religion, or rather Christianity here, believing all mankind needs that help for salvation. Otherwise Christianity could be just a hobby of little old ladies going to church as a club, or some eccentric interest that some people may have.

        Paul’s marketplace M.O. does bring the “train” through Main Street 🙏🏻🕊️thanks for your “going into all the world” with the message of Salvation🕊️🙏🏻

        They things go in cycles, there was a time in days gone by you could say humanity had improved for the better, sadly thats not the case at the moment, maybe the cycle will return, an interesting and enjoyable read

        • arqios

          “Cyclical,” now there’s a thought! In which case I need to rethink why I seem to always find myself in the down-cycle. Thanks kindly🙏🏻🕊️

            Isn't that the problem we all are, enjoy your day

            • arqios

              Yup, that we all are; thank you🙏🏻🕊️

              Slow start, habits are changing with the change of the season; or perhaps it’s something else in the air

              • arqios

                Sluggish gurgling, patience being quartered

                  And where’s Neville at these days?

                  Myth tells us that the gods were not happy with their first try in creating humans and decided to start over. So it was with biblical Noah. Maybe they were not too far off. It seems that man's DNA is not programed for humanity and needs a new start. A very deep and philosophical write

                    Almost sounds like the global reset 🤣but I totally 💯 get what you’re saying there🙏🏻🕊️thank you ever so much Soren🕊️🙏🏻

                    The state of humanity should bring humility. Ah, but we are speaking wisdom here and you know the old proverb, "A fool returns to their folly like a dog returns to its vomit." This poem has a humble, real, fresh look at human beings. May those who have eyes and/or ears see and hear the truth presented here. Well done, my friend! 🌹👏

                    • arqios

                      That image from that proverb used to haunt me as an early middle schooler! Fancy it being influential decades later; thanks for lifting the banner of humility🙏🏻🕊

                        You are most welcome, my friend. 🦇🖤🙏🐦‍⬛

                        Forsooth, tis a bit of a change. Warned we are destined to repeat our history if we are either ignorant of the same or disregard it, and further, that Rome fell after decaying into debauchery, the "flood of Noah" leaving nary vestige of that world, it's an eerie reality indeed staring us down. Excellently rendered with gorgeous imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

                          Thank you so much… and the earwax build up is comparatively proportional it would seem🙏🏻🕊
