Like Butterflies in Snowstorms

Thanks for reading me wrong

   and for deleting me ..

You have completely undone

and released all

the good that was ever in me ..

So surely, it’s high time

for each of us to move forward ..

Nothing at all, really

matters now does it, in the end

it all comes down to

pretence like an image projected

onto some opaque

mirror or screen that does not

   bleed, but it feels

nonetheless .. and today, we are

lost and in one hell of

a mess, both shattered and torn

at the seams to the core ..

Blown like some rare and fragile

butterfly into a blinding

colourless grave held by a snowstorm ..

      A fine response O.

The complexity and different layers of your poems astounds me, They mirror the complexity of human relations and because of this require several readings just as do human relations themselves. As each layer is peeled away another is seen beneath. This poem is no less and you attract the reader's attention with the title that reveals what lies beneath the skin. Another wonderful poem

A very poetic way of someone venting their anger and pain, enjoyed reading this ( not because of the suffering ), but the clever wat it is written,

You have such a poetic way of writting your words. Sounds as though you have had your heart broken and I am sorry for that. However, it does bring out some beautiful poetry we get to read,

                            • Cheeky Missy

I shall feign a sense of wisdom not erst wont to be in view and refrain from begging the finer details pertaining to this particular stanza, though half fainting with curiosity. Why, why, why on earth my brother's book of [--] Jokes You Can't Resist was dredged up by your choice imagery, I can't guess, the blank white page portraying ghosts in a snowstorm roasting marshmallows too vividly before me oddly. Okay, enough of such rambling. Beautifully rendered with excellently evocative imagery and a heartbreaking poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
