In the final moment,
Orion unleashes a blinding radiance
that dispels the damnable Eclipse.
The kingdom is bathed
in light once more,
and Sol, though weakened,
smiles with pride.
Orion has transformed
from son to sun,
fulfilling the prophecy
and securing his legacy.
The people, awestruck,
hail Orion as the new Sun.
His light is different from his father’s
—unique and full of promise.
He stands tall,
a beacon for future generations,
ready to guide them
through any darkness.

I love this kind of writing, Arqios. I need to let this one marinate for a while. Keep a (long) eye out for the Phoenix, if you catch my drift?!
Glad the ashes drift back together after dispersal ππ»ποΈ
Blending the astrological with the mythical this poem reaches for a metaphor of reality. New beginnings. A wonderful work Cryptic
To new beginnings, Soren. Thanks, my friend ποΈππ»
Good write A.
Thanks, O.
arqios, this is a wonderful write, my friend. The mythic frame, the generational shift, and the promise carried forward all work together seamlessly. Itβs not just about victory, but guidanceβ¦indeed. Powerful piece. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Most appreciated, friend Tittu. This is another one of those that have to be posted up with consideration for timing of posting. ππ»ποΈ
You are most welcome, my friend. Indeed. Glad its time came.
A joy to read - a prominent constellation that brings light on these dark wintry UK days.
Thanks, Michael. That indeed would be a light-giving comfort ποΈππ»
A fine write, Arqios.
