I like this poem very much. I think that behind the great spirit of the season, as some of us adore and respect it with sincerity, most people are, for the sake of the season, ambushed by overstress and bitterness, drifting away from the real meaning of Christmas.

And of course it is bloody poetry...For the record, "Guilty as charged" And what I was guilty of was about half of that list in my twenties, and thereafter I have treated alcohol with the utmost respect, imbibing measured amounts daily.
