IT SEEMS TO ME
It can’t be right it seems to me
Why do they spell sea ‘s’ ‘e‘ ‘a’ and yet pronounce it ‘c’ ?
Many swim and do a pee
so will you kindly explain to me why there is no ‘p’ in sea.

A very good start to a Sunday morning reading this, very enjoyed, best wishes to the dog
Thanks T. This cartoon is in the January edition of the magazine.
You are very welcome, enjoy your day
Oops there could be 'p' in sea from some naughty polluters. You know Miss Poll Lute?!
I know Miss Po Lute - don't take the p**s out of her.
That would make it sepia and when I see that color in my pool it's time to add more chlorine. Fun and such a great write using the play on language.
a sepia sea - has a ring to it. Thanks S
Would that be pronounced "say" instead? The IPA is also kind of off specially it seems where diphthongs are concerned. Not going to the psea in the winter though... perhaps once. oh, btw, loving that cartoon there, has the cross feel between Snoopy, Calvin, and an editorial cartoon. Hope to see more (not sea) of your illustration/cartoon/art works down the road. Seymour can be a character based on today's post as well... just thinking out loud.
Pronounced cee I guess - off to dip my thong in the waves - by the way the kind of IPA I prefer comes in cans - heigh ho - cheers muchly argios - much appreciate your looking in.
Your welcome ME ππ»
Well dear Michael and Stanley, you sure put a new spin on Christmas Balls π€£ I absolutely love your art, but I may be slightly jealous if Stanley is now your muse π biggest of hugs to you both. π π

Ah bless - you are still my No 1 muse.
I think Harper Valley had one?
Harper Valley? Sorry but I'm a simple Brit must look it up.
Down here it's a P&C, in America it might be pca?
Now was that really necessary? I remember as a kid we had a hound who looked like he might want to put it about a bit, but after Mum gave him a good talking to and completed the chain link fence around our garden, he mostly kept himself to himself.....
hard to say if it was really necessary he's okay now - I live in a middle England village and have a wall enclosed garden (a yard ) but he was a bit frisky with other people and dogs which could be a little difficult at times. Cheers DD
Perfect! Seriously. Perfect! πΉπ
A great reply so much appreciated.
You are welcome! Thoroughly enjoyed!
Stanley came in
from the dark
to lighten Mr Edward's world
And am sure glad he did. β€οΈ
Heβs rather special - a loving fella but a bit on of a monkey at times. Heβs a big hit at the village school where the little ones love him and come running out to give him a stroke - heβs got that cute look but he knows it - bit like me ππππππππ
lol β€οΈ
I'm afraid my limericks have hit a new low lol
There was an young dog called Stanley
Who only liked eating Bramley's
One day in a pie
He lost one of his eyes
Because he was feeling so randy
Well as you know I have no shame so fill your boots with this feast dearest Michael πΉ lol
There was a young dog called Stanley
who was full of life and quite randy
but he had the chop
βtwas a painful lop
and now heβs not feeling so manly.
LoL π€£ oh yes Michael and his muse lol
The same reason there is no K in Michael Michael. LOL
Andy
Should it be Mycurl - mmm I wonder!
