to stumble upon
these days ..
Their inner glow
usually
seems to serve
as a beacon
or as a warning
not to try
and precure
someone else’s light ..

A poem with a twist a play in the words that reverses the initial take and meaning. I always loved these things and this is another. Like an iceberg the body of the work lies beneath the surface. Lovely

Enjoy the masterpieces that one rarely gets to behold and, rather than stealing someone else's light, produce enough of one's own and shine that outward. Who knows when one's light produces another masterpiece. And, as is oft said, art is always in the eye of the beholder. A masterpiece to one is a garage sale special to another.
