Sitting here alone in the darkness,
I can feel the fear of countless
People hoping for a new
Year without destruction,
Death, rot and decay.
Which leads me to

Indeed what now? I fear the toxic internet is breeding a new human variant full of extemist intolerance and even hatred - but thankfully there are still countless people who hope for a brighter inclusive future - er live in hope.

I agree with Michael here. We went from don’t judge me to no fear, to don’t hate and now it a whole new ball game. The image supplied is stark and emits contradictions. But down the bottom at the very end of the poem is a key 🔐 that may unlock it all quite in a manner we may not expect…. Yes friend, quo vadis?
