Brightening Love.

Goldfinch60

What a strange morning it was,

There we were,

In the middle of winter,

Temperature barely above freezing,

But there we were,

Walking along the beach

In glorious sunshine.

The sun shining down,

Shining down on us

As the new year starts,

And my lover and I walk,

Walk together in the sun

With our love,

Our love for each other

Brightening this bright day.
