arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
πŸ•Š πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•ŠοΈ

flames and mirrors flash

windows and rain, pan on screen

reflective pools, still

lines, l o n g  d r a w I n g  gaze

light, topographic texture

shade; toxic mixture

ambient perspective

people together, alone

all moving me home

Words to give thought.I particularly loved "people together, alone" so often true and in the deepest sense always true. A poem of increasing depth the more it is read

Yay! My first response from your β€˜quill!’ I’m so glad you picked up on that and brought it to view. Our aloneness can quite often surpass the peopleness of our days, it appears to be a present day plague. Thanks for your time, company, and kind words Soren. Your friendship over the years means more than words and platitudes. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

It comes in many forms feeling on your own, individual isolation, an individual in a crowd, or even a group of people battling on their own, feeling the world has ignored them. Mor about todays mindset, only worry what`s on our doorstep and don`t look down the street enough. Enjoyed the thought provoking read

"People together, alone." Reminds me of the Bon Jovi song, "Living in Sin", "You can talk but still say nothing / You stay together but alone." Indeed. So very true. A powerful write my friend. πŸ™β€οΈ

Oh, I have to pull up that song, it’s been so long!!! Radio station programming is not quite like it used to be. I guess the money and audience have somehow shifted elsewhere πŸ€·πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ•Š

Sounds like something is missing. Beautifully done. 🌹

Perhaps that’s the fill in the blanks feeling that haiku brings with it… idk πŸ€·πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•Š

                • Teddy.15

                  Completely missed that, marvelous 🌹

                  • arqios

It’s easy to miss, really. I only realised it was after my first draft. β€˜Auto-haiku?’ 🀣
