Consistency, I have None.

Doggerel Dave

Notice of absence from Doggerel Dave
Update: I will perhaps return sometime.....

I have been consistent about nothing except breathing.

There is too much even now to explore and discover,

To stay here now would mean repetition, without meaning..

Said all I need to; sometimes successfully, sometimes not.

Time at a premium, there’s somewhere else my head should be;

I must move on before an ageing brain begins to rot….

You're too fun, dear Sir! Yes, keep your mind active while it remains in action. Charmingly rendered with great imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing. Wonderful to have you back, if only for a transient moment.

I've valued your ongoing support, Missy. Love the way you contribute to these pages. (That word used loosely but with fun as I'm leaving....)

Good to see you back Dave, fill up those hours by writing once more.

You were the first to respond to me when I joined MPS in 2020, Andy. I've been here without breaks ever since. Now time to change my role from supporter to (occasional) contributor, if that is, I can find anything worthy of contribution......

I'm the guy who is not even consistent in breathing. Do you know that 24 hours 'No Breathing Day'? I took part in it. I did it, but didn't feel well afterwards. lol. (That's become a very old corny joke of mine now. But I only know about 3 jokes. heehee). A Classic NS comment from me?

A beautifully daffy way to say good bye, Sir Orchi Non Sequitur.

Please don't move off too far, kinda like having ya around.

Thanks for that Soren. You have given me much support over my time here, an for that, believe me I'm very grateful.

              You may have more time....
              Take care.

A belated happy new year Dave. All that stuff you haven’t done reminds me of me. Now don’t you disappear, just put us on rations if you must, but don’t starve us:) Hope you had a lovely holiday. Cut your hours down from three or four to two. That will give you more time 🙂

                • Doggerel Dave

A lovely generous response Cassie, given some of our previous interactions. Thanks and gratitude and all that... I may pop up when you are least expecting it.....

Glad you are back Dave! I've missed you. I also love and relate to this. I get it. Glad to see you back with "quill" in hand! 🤘✍️

                  • Doggerel Dave

No quill in hand , Tristan. I'm away for a while, or who knows, possibly longer....

Hang in there at MPS . the joint needs yer......
