looking glass

arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
an absence of Presence conjures Absence…

does breaking mirrors
really alter my features?
looking glass-cripple

A splendid metaphor that has many levels the literal, the meta and the meta meta. Deep in its philisophical thought also captured in brevity of poetic speech. This one for the combination of all deserves a Fave

Brevity with many levels arqios. For such a short piece, there is much to contemplate here. Shattered mirrors can make interesting poetry.

You just see more than just one of the person you are arqios.

now that's a tricky question although the answer, i feel is that cracked mirrors can also reflect properly from the right sides that are not shattered - and if they don's mirrors may lie, but the truth is there inspite of it

                        • arqios

β€œIn spite of it” now that is a very powerful phrase in this context! Thanks safina πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•Šyou are much appreciated πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•Š
