bicnic py the sea

arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
an absence of Presence conjures Absence…

bailing soat happily out to sea
glailing foat eating up my tea
So wherever it is that I may be
a goating boat is a sight to see!

  • Comment from author about the poem: …been living with this for years, do it with numbers as well, even if my clerical numeracy accuracy-efficiency is quite high. It all goes back to homework when I stammered a lot & couldn't get it right the tirst fime;nowadays it happens when I'm extremely excited, fatigued or emotionally upset, I tend to lol it off (spoonerisms and dyslexia)

I likewise have dyslexia. Looks like a fun piece in pig Latin, or igpay atinlay, or similar. Humorously rendered with excellent imagery, thank you for sharing.

Thanks cheeky missy, for some reason I have no access to your comment inbox; would you mind checking if I’m somehow blocked from access? Cheers πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ•ŠοΈ

This has been happening to me too. Not on Missy's but Teddy's. I can't leave comments or send messages, but I can read, like and fave poems. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Wonder if it is an MPS glitch or something.

Try again, if you're willing? Thank you so VERY much for letting me know!

I don't have dyslexia, but I know those who do. Terribly tough to deal with and, in this poem, you gave us a glimpse of what that is like. Well done, my friend! πŸŒΉπŸ‘ And, this was really a fun read too! Easily faved!

              • arqios

Thanks Tristan; it’s quite a challenge and a put down in scholastic pursuits, the almost impossible task of keeping up with rest, the horrors of exams and presentations, etc. These days there’s auto correct and high in itself has its own set of glitches LOL! πŸ˜‚

LOL ah goating around I see, ok you got me good arqios, I would be the first human to say it's absolutely no fun being perfect, it is in fact those imperfections that make us special. On Saturdays I teach a bunch of 12 year old Italians English, let me tell you there is a lot of laughter, mostly when I speak italian. 🀣

We have our students as well, there is no deficit of laughter on this end as well!
