The very curious thing about this piece is its timing. Nine years ago now I could not bear to think, only force myself and the rest of my family to move forward when we all felt the same, like joining Mum, who'd died suddenly the day before. Very aptly poignant with excellent imagery, and rendered tastefully in hard-hitting brevity. Thank you for sharing. [My mother was my best friend.]
