I wake this day before dawns early light,
Open the curtains to look at the dark,
But the full moon does shine on me so bright,
That brings me glory and music like a lark.
The brightness of this full moon starts my day,
With glory and wonder waiting for me,
As its light in my world shows me the way,
To fulfil my day with beauty and glee.
So into this new day do I now know,
That it will be filled with the love of life,
From which the love and joy from all will flow,
In my daytime path without any strife.
So I thank the moon for its wonderful light,
Showing me that all this day will be bright.

Good write Gold. When will you be getting up in daylight?
When daylight is at 6 in the morning, the time I have always got up.

I love the Moons glow on the countryside when everything has that βBlueishβ light ; Wonderful. Love looking at the Moon; and Kate Winslet, which has nothing to do with this Poem, so just forget I mentioned it.
Yes the moons glow is wonderful Kevin.
I won't mention Kate. LOL

You're welcome Andy
And I believe over here in Lincoln's Land anyway, they termed it a "wolf's" moon. Either way, I've been told too many tales of pure idiocy connected to full moons, and working until 11pm whilst battling a cold for all the long hours, all I wanted to do was get home and to bed. This is very pretty, however, and a totally different perspective. Rendered beautifully as your forever wont, and with a charming poignancy and excellent imagery tis lovely as usual. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words Missy, much appreciated.
