At the Very End of Darkness

At the Very End of Darkness

Where did the light come from

and who turned it on ..

I mean that golden glow the very

   same colour as halo’s ..

Locked in a room with no windows

or doors but filled with orbs

with no present, no past or before

yet still glowing and darkly ..

This poem has echoes. It resounds with internal rhymes and near rhymes that bounce off word's walls. It has a haunting quality reinforced by the last word. Nicely constructed its archetecture is musical

My word, how very kind you are my dear friend sorenbarrett .. Neville

There is a light within us waiting to be unleashed that is quite locked up by many a circumstance and situation. That’s the feel I got reading this.

It often makes sense to run with such gut feelings .. many thanks on their way my friend .. Neville

It’s easier I guess if one has never been gaslighted or second guessed. But this is a solid principle to understand and live by, like β€˜muscle memory,’ instinct, intuition and such.

The light within, waiting to be unleashed but blocked by circumstances. Still, no circumstance is too large to snuff that light or its inner potential. Or at least that is what I got out of it. A wonderful write, Neville! Faved, my friend! πŸŒΉπŸ‘
