Dust

Doggerel Dave

Notice of absence from Doggerel Dave
I do return sometimes... occasionally...

Dust and I have mutual respect;

Live and let live is the rule where

Dust settles here with no effect

On this my life which will appear

To remain simple, just perfect.

                    .

Of vacuum cleaner I have none,

Nor feather duster to evict

Specks innocuous formed as one

Expansive cover to depict

Uniform harmony - job done.

    "...dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return--" Eh?! Dat why yous got a healthy regard for the stuff? I have no vacuum cleaner either, for me ain reasons, and need to dust more often than rarely. That aside, how characteristically rendered to effect in your excellent style with grand imagery and a waltzing poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

                          keep allowing the dust to stay, but do not let it affect your health, just let it fly away on its own volition, since it seems unable to touch you..
                          enjoyed the read

                          • Doggerel Dave
