Notice of absence from Doggerel Dave
I do return sometimes... occasionally...
I do return sometimes... occasionally...
Dust and I have mutual respect;
Live and let live is the rule where
Dust settles here with no effect
On this my life which will appear
To remain simple, just perfect.
.
Of vacuum cleaner I have none,
Nor feather duster to evict
Specks innocuous formed as one
Expansive cover to depict
Uniform harmony - job done.

"...dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return--" Eh?! Dat why yous got a healthy regard for the stuff? I have no vacuum cleaner either, for me ain reasons, and need to dust more often than rarely. That aside, how characteristically rendered to effect in your excellent style with grand imagery and a waltzing poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome , Missy. My understanding is that much of that dust is my shedding anyway....maybe I'm just crumbling slowly.....
Aww.
Totally relate! Good thing there’s Zyrtec🤣
Thanks mate - I have my own patent sneeze stopper - doesn't always work during spring pollen time. Neva mind a good sneeze clears the tubes...
Sure does! 🤧
We all return to dust Dave so it is no problem.
Andy
I think I'll wait a bit, Andy...
So will I...
You dust, you worm, you mere mortal man, you...... Not insulting you, just saying the truth applying to all of us! Have you returned? lol.
No - not here. I'm a figment of your prayerful imagination..... LOL
I 'worm' my way into things!
then there snout to be sneezed at is there ..
Snot indeed....
Dust like a fine patina creates an ambience of age and destinction. lol A fun read my friend Nothing to sneeze about, lol
That 's it! A fine patina distinguished by age...Thanks for the read Soren.
I also have no vacuum cleaner
And you survive...
I totally relate to this and, honestly Dave, I now feel a sniffle coming on! [*pops allegra d8*]. 🤣 Much enjoyed!
Thanks Tristan. I'll catch up with pops allegra d8 sometime......
🤣 You’re welcome!
keep allowing the dust to stay, but do not let it affect your health, just let it fly away on its own volition, since it seems unable to touch you..
enjoyed the read
It flew on to my next piece... Thanks for your appreciation.
always welcome - keep them coming
Superb work. Pensive.
Not as pensive as my next one....
