Tequila

sorenbarrett

In Aztec land out of volcanic sand grew agave blue
From its piña core natives liquid pour, pulque the god's brew of dew
Mezcal has a worm causing your stomach to squirm, rustic it's called
Made from agave too, distilled once not two, drinking it you should be appalled

Tequila.. with this drink you'll feel a... raise in spirits
Peel a... lime ta reveal a...  burning surprise... near-its
salted rim, a drink not malted, a hymn served with crushed ice
Warm to the tongue mixed in lemon's sour juice wrung... a vice

José okay for every day for the weekend Patrão
On a holiday... taste the bouquet, Don Julio will atone
but to rule, as god of the bar stool... serve tequila Clase azul
Even a blind fool will drool sipping this liquid jewel

You just done good .. I know this stuff you are on about .. made me salivate just thinking about it .. Funnily enough I have never sampled it anywhere other than in Mexico where I drank far too much of it .. Neville

Thanks Neville love it in shots but my favorite is a well constructed Mararita has to be fresh squeezed lime juice and just the right amount of sugar. Just like life itself there must be the right mix of sweet and sour as well as salt to affect the spirit.

Applause, applause, applause, I felt we needed to be cheered up, a bit of a sad week on MPS but you have surpassed any expectation I could have on the subject, if anyone could write about tequila it would be you, thank you for taking up this challenge that was purely to cheer us up and you most certainly have, superb and now I wish we could have a Latin dance my dear friend sorrenbarret ๐Ÿน biggest amount of hugs from Italy to you dearest of friends. โค๏ธ

Don't drink Gold? Tequila is an aquired taste like beer or gin. Once you get it though it is very nice. Thanks for the read
