don’t know

arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
an absence of Presence conjures Absence…

Don't know what to say

anymore

my mental defragmentation

distills my thoughts

cremated and wind scattered

water tension propelled

pond-gliding chase scenes

surrealistic ballet

Don't know what to think

anymore

mince meat re-minced

mindless in Seattle

shuttling to and fro

Brownian movements

my emotional upheaval

seat-belted turbulence

Don't know what to feel

anymore

economic extravagance

eclectic expediting

bovine ruminations

atop verdant berms

pates bare through seasons

lawless diminishing returns

I don’t know what to write about anymore .. unless I have a picture to write from , I can find myself a bit stuck ….

  • Tristan Robert Lange

I know this feeling...not knowing what to say, think or feel. Honestly, I am feeling a bit that way right now. Just blah. Hate that feeling. With happiness or pain, there's at least a sense of being alive. The moments of blah-ness...they're almost unbearable if that makes any sense. Anyway, well done, my friend. 🌹👏 Not sure if this is where you were going with it, but it is how it hit me on reading it a couple of times.

    • arqios

It usually goes any which way. I had a friend once who was under a prescription cocktail and they were almost zomboid because of it. I would much rather feel something even if it wasn’t always cheery. Just resurfaced from a blah-ness phase. It was pretty to say the least. Thanks kindly 🙏🏻👍🏻🕊

      • Tristan Robert Lange

Exactly! Me too, friend! Me too! No zomboid cocktails for me, thank you! You are welcome, my friend! ❤️‍🩹

        Wow, what emotional and
        poignant feelings indeed!! 😳
        Been there, felt that way
        glad it was temporary!! 🙏
        Awesome penning my friend,
        Thanks for sharing,!!
        Best regards ✌️ Thad

Temporary! That is what we need to keep always in mind. Thanks Thad 🙏🏻👍🏻🕊

Erm, you've said it all - nearly! lol. *gets dictionary out*.

          • arqios

So many words are going extinct… because they are somehow boycotted or neglected for easier words… sad about that. 🙏🏻👍🏻🕊

We'll put, that's the stage I'm in, hence I'm trying to experiment with something new within poetry

            • arqios

Yes! Experimentation is the portal to Tomorrow! Let’s go 👍🏻🙏🏻🕊

              Powerful work, my friend.

              • arqios

                Thanks TWC 👍🏻🙏🏻🕊

I think you are just exhausted. Writing is a tough journey. It is a marathon event. Coming up with new ideas is difficult. My advice is take a holiday get some new views to look at. The world wants to see what you see but more importantly it wants to know how you feel about that scene.Anyway good luck. A profound and important poem

                • arqios

Good advice and practice. Your work has that freshness of angle… what an angler 🎣 poetry in the net… thanks DWa🙏🏻👍🏻🕊

I like your play on Sleepless in Seattle, and the eloquent description of a bewildering reality which beautifully illustrates the winter perspective spot on, as it were. Ergo, gorgeously rendered with beyond excellent imagery and a none too subtly haunting poignancy. I love it. Thank you very much for sharing!

                  • arqios

Thanks kindly! Yes, pop culture does have a functionality as vehicles of meaning and feel. So glad you pointed that out. 🙏🏻👍🏻🕊

                  • Cassie58

Mental exhaustion. Not a good place to be. When I can’t sleep and am over tired, the place you describe sounds familiar. A complete break helps.

                    • arqios

At home we call that ‘being too tired to sleep’, we usually lay in the dark with our thoughts scurrying about like rodents in the attic. Thanks kindly 🙏🏻👍🏻🕊

Sometimes less is more and by that I mean don't over think it. Tomorrow is a new day. Very emotional write 🌹

Those disorientations will soon become one again arqios.
