Notice of absence from arqios

Amber frosted reeds
in scintillating wind
swaying, dancing,
synchronised now
syncopated and back
shouting then singing
xanthine etudes
boisterous and raucous
bright and nimble
leaving pliant
graceful kisses
on a pair of soft
smooth cheeks

Beautiful imagery. I often see those reeds with their feathery plumes at the marina and on the river bank. They take on a life of their own in the wind. You have used some fine vocab in this poem arqios. Lovely and sensual too.
Thank you Cassie ππ» Iβm so glad that scene π¬ came across ποΈ
Beautiful words showing the beauty of the reeds argios.

Thanks Andy, much appreciated ππ»ποΈ
It's that well-known friend again, xanthine, though I'm talking gibberish. Being uncultured, I dunno what it is! lol. Good write Mr Minuet.
Thanks O ππ»ποΈ
Botanical fireworks set to music in this poem in a metaphoric work of passion. Chef's kiss to this
Love that phrase: βbotanical fireworks!β π¨βπ³ π€π»

Glad you enjoyed it. That brings real joy ππ»π
You are very welcome
Beautiful, natural, sensual, linguistically, lyrically titillating. All of this and above. Loved this, my friend. An easy fave. By the way what would coffee be without xanthine? Decaf of course! LOL! ππΉ

A beautiful poem. Some of the big words I had to look up but a powerful image created.
Written back in the day when big words were kind of a thing. Tweaked and dusted for a possible spin on the bitumen. Thanks kindlyππ»π
