Once more I was blown away
Blown away by the music
There they were on stage
Just the three of them
Clarinet, bass and guitar
And they took me back
Back to those days
Those days when jazz was born
Such wonderful sounds
From a time long gone
But brought to life
Brought to life by these three
These three wonderful musicians
Who blew me away
Back into the wonder of jazz.

Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Wow! Cool you enjoy them live and then can give even distant me the pleasure in a trice, added to this charming number in tribute to the same, so delightfully rendered with excellent imagery and a hearty poignancy. Thank you very, very much for sharing!
Most kind Missy, thank you for your kind words.

It's been a while since I've been to a Jazz club and, luckily, I recently moved about 15 minutes away from one. Bonus. Sounds like you had a great time. Wonderful poem, Andy! ❤️🙏
