...How About, Yes?

Cheeky Missy

I'm Fumbling Oer Perspective

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCIX)

Rain forecast, see the note of pink t'avail
Ere night could think of whither, til dawn's sense
Of Thursday would define beyond fr'intents.
How golden light sifts in as if, to scale,
The drama is for later, that detail
For afternoon I guess, whileas what hence?
But sleep oercomes me until gloaming, whence
Look out to see rain's come at last...like bail?
Oh cherished silver amb'ance! I'd as t'were
Behold thy cast til night's deep folds undo
The day.  No fanfare, just wet pavement, pure
Near calm like all's tucked up quite sweetly, to
Effect.  Called in just after dark in tour,
Dense mists haunt passage, LORD, how I need You!

If I Was Not Too Busy, Then What?

(sonnet MMMMMMMMMCX)

Tis raining likeas Spring's wont, misting hence
Like romance is in style within these pale
Hours which sheer twilight haunts, where aught detail
Is moistened so much tis just wet for sense;
Lights on all day indoors, 'cept at fr'intents
My own place. If brunch likewise is t'avail
The style, I'm barely showered ere work, frail
As which excuse? At least fog's mild, not dense.
Find out my schedule's screwed me, and in poor
'Scuse lose the pleasures of Spring's waking view.
How rain is flown ere nightfall as aught stir
To head home, evning calm where I plan to
Go shopping after work, and midnight'd tour
Afore I kin get home. LORD, I need you.

...on rainy days I have it all to myself!

At Least Nobody Commissioned THIS

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCXI)

On sunny days whenas the sun t'avail
Is shining, they'll line up, backed up fr'intents
To lo, the street, to get their cars washed, whence
You wait in three lanes, once in, to detail
Truck, car, or van in choice selections' tale
Of "clean," with grandeur for a keener sense,
Or to trick out the thought of sheer pretense,
Both off the street and members seeking bail.
Who does not fancy waiting as it were
Nigh thirty minutes for their wash, can do
It elsewhere is't? But my subscription, fer
All that, is best right here, across and through
One street, then back home or to work in tour.
Some swear my car's too clean, but that's not true.

Oh Yes, Life's Come A' Courting

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCXII)

Oh! but tis Spring despite the sheer ice dense
With treach'ry on the pavement, when sans bail
I fell last night, and fear t'afresh derail
Me going to and fro, the light fr'intents
Half winking at my soul, and sifting thence
In to remind me of what is, t'avail,
Aught 'ware likewise, and pensive, feeling frail
As if, what, eh? For Groundhog Day is whence.
In Pennsylvan'a will dawn wreck as t'were
Fair hopes? For Lincoln's Land could win if's true
T'will be oercast.  Snow overnight in tour,
I'm betting on a cold Spring as it'd woo,
Favon'us haunting these parts to bestir
The buds which only wait, as we wait You.
