A Smile In My Heart.

Goldfinch60

Once more we were there,

Seeing them on the stage,

The finest Jazz Band I know.

Ten times we have seen them

And there will be more to follow.

But last night was different

As Marvin was on the stage,

On the stage most of the time.

A singer who drew me into him,

Drew me into him from the start,

From the first time I saw him,

Saw him a few years ago.

And last night he sang,

Sang so many songs

I was pulled into his singing

And could listen to him,

Listen to him forever.

The band were so wonderful,

Playing Jazz of old,

Bringing such joy to all,

To all in the theatre.

And once more when I left

When the concert was over,

I went home with a smile,

With a smile in my heart.

Nothing like instrumental music accompanied by song to make the heart sing as well. We are programed musical beings that have to respond. Thanks for sharing Andy
