It's grass being grown
Hay being hauled
Campfire in the evening light
It's cows in the field
Fresh garden yield
Fireflies in the night
It's the country life
Old dirt roads
Leading to adventure untold
While we jump in our trucks and ride
Catching chickens by hand
City folks just don't understand
How one could love this kind of life
It's the country life
It's fishing in the lake
Biscuits that are homemade
Homemade ice cream on a hot summer night
It's the country life
Old dirt roads
Leading to adventure untold
While we jump in our trucks and ride
Catching chickens by hand
City folks just don't understand
How one could love this kind of life
It's the country life

Yes indeed. Good write Tony
Thank you
It’s a good life in the farm. So glad I was sent to the countryside every time school was not in session.
Thank you
Oh, but this is so very, very beautifully rendered with nigh exquisite imagery for the tantalizing poignancy waltzing throughout. Thank you very much for sharing, I love it!!!
