The deconstruction of democracy

Cutting down the steel beams

Of what our country was built on

The aspiration of your dreams

 

Whether building walls

To keep people out

Or tearing down community walls

Of humanities’ devastation rout

 

You want to change

Everything you see

Putting your face on Mt. Rushmore

Defacing our Presidency

 

Past presidents in history

Turning over in their graves

Their legacy disrespected

By your Dictator ways

 

Ending the Department of Education

Turning our children into dummies

So they’re not smart enough to fight you

Laugh it off, it’s so funny

 

Generations of families

Struggling on nickels and dimes

While you and your billionaire buddies

Drink champaign and wine

 

Disgracing the beauty

Of the red, white and blue

Demolition of the USA

Screw by screw

              History's pages are filled with these things and people that don't remember or read will relive them again. The saddest thing of all is that it was the people that elected him. A powerful write and in poetic form
