Unwavering

Cassie58

at times I hear her calling

where the foam of tides is lapping

where the seagulls hover daily

where my thoughts go gently sailing

to that black rock in the sea

there is calm upon the water

and the silver threads in moonlight

cast a sheen upon the surface

it’s a place of perfect safety

so I drift there when I hear her

when her voice is heard in whispers

and I know that in her presence

there is peace and harmony

A presence clearly evoked in deep rich rhythms, Cassie. For me there is little need to be specific, the impression does it completely.

Now this is about someone specific and it also brings other images as well, among them the tale of the little πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ mermaid πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•Š

The elusive female haunts likeas a siren in her own domains, her habitat thus rendered so deliciously one well nigh faints, the soul drawing closer as if finding respite therein. Gorgeously rendered with exquisite imagery and a fascinating, haunting poignancy. Thank for sharing.
