Abbundently Timeless

Teddy.15

If the universe was starless

and there was no Moon
how could we ever see the beauty of space?

If time didn't tick
surely we wouldn't see or hear it going by?

and if clocks weren't invented
we wouldn't know anything else about what time it is, would we?

  • Comment from author about the poem: My husband being a physicist says this poem has no meaning but as a poet I say it has an entire infinity of meaning and reflection . But who am I to argue with a doctorate of applied physics 🤣

Thoughts and more thoughts fill this poem. You are exercising my mind on a weekend, its day off. A most fun read Teddy thanks for the fun.

I hoped I would 🤣 happy happy reflecting my dear friend, thank you. 🌹

You ask questions dear Teddy. I say let’s leave the physics out of poetry 😂. My own Dad’s qualifications were in that line. Let’s say he didn’t pass much science on to his daughter 🙂 Now when it comes to poetry, it takes a poet to understand another poet. I like your ponderings and your chosen artwork is beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend dear friend. 🌹💜

Yes 🤣 have a wonderful day day dear friend. 🌹

This poem made me smile, Teddy! It has its own delightful kind of logic! Science doesn't rule everything in this world! -- especially art, poetry and music!
Sorry I'm not around much on MPS, but I'm busy writing and recording music much of the time.

Delightful kind of logic, I'll take that as a truly wonderful compliment. Thank you so much dear Robert. 🌹

It is said that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." We see what we see, feel what we feel. And are what we are. 😉👍

Thank you dearest A.P 🌹 if time didn't exist!

Very fine words Teddy, time passes anyway and even if we did not realise it it would still take us to the next phase of our lives.

i would say keep arguing and explaining why some things are felt with the heart and not the mind
