Bard

sorenbarrett

A poet is a dreamer who's ears are his heart

A term schemer molding word clay his art

Cracks the shell, peals away skin of what others see

Taps the well, feels water within, clears away debris

Past in present sung, bathes in emotion all day long

Pen for tongue, in feeling ink sings his song

In drops of pain in black dye rain tells the truth in lies

Reflected stain of nature explain in mirrored paper skies

A wonderful reflection on poetry, where inky rivers flow across paper skies and the messages tap into seemingly unchartable regions (namely the psyche of the the poet's reader). What a thought provoking piece, one that I and I am sure many others on here relate to. 🌹👏🎩☘️
