Ouroboros of love and hate doesn't know what it ate
Fangs of venom at one end the other a siren tail does bend
A twisted circle becomes an eight writhing to consummate
Reclined infinity the masculine devouring femininity

- Comment from author about the poem: Ouroboros an ancient symbol first seen in Egyptian art as a snake in a circle swallowing its tail. It represents the beginning and end of time. It represents duality the yin and yang and the philosopher's stone.

Touche! A powerful poem, Soren, Your poem "Ouroboros of Love and Hate" examines the intricate, interconnected relationship between love and hate, implying that they are two sides of the same coin. The imagery of the ouroboros—a snake consuming its own tail—symbolizes the cyclical nature of these emotions and their eternal connection. Your poem explores themes of desire, consumption, and the duality of human emotions, portraying a relationship where love and hate coexist, each fueling the other, creating an endless cycle that is both destructive and all-consuming. It aims to stimulate thought about the nature of love and hate, encouraging readers to reflect on their experiences and perceptions of these powerful emotions. It uses vivid imagery and metaphor to illustrate the often tangled relationship between these opposing forces.
