The broken heart cafe

Tony36

At the broken heart cafe

You let life drain away

From a world

That hurt you so

While you fade away

At the broken heart cafe

Life goes in a lazy way

In a smoke filled room

Drink lots of booze

Crying over your past mistakes

At the broken heart cafe

Bleeding hearts

Sad stories

Much dismay

At the broken heart cafe

For eternity you stay

That’s quite a burden left with the cafe, or is it the keeper? Mmm… nice🙏🏻🕊

Oh not for eternity I hope. A sad poem of loss and pain that paints a dark shadow of sorrow. Nicely done Tony

Wonderful Tony. I have been at that café, and the coffee is thick and cold. Brilliant job penning this. A fave. 🌹👏

Hopefully I will never have to go to that cafe again Tony.
