Notice of absence from arqios

Between lines and stanzas
this place of utmost vulnerability
to wallow in -to soothe the slow burn
as your essence surfaces alone, in
that quiet conversation between
your true self and the world

I am kneeling to the power of words: worlds created in the depths of your true self, and you let them out like Vishnu breathes out new Universes. Even the word "Universe" is like some divine verse of creation.
So true. Thanks VBποΈππ»
Cryptic whether in the literal writing or metaphorical pauses in life or action it is those pauses that are most vulnerable. Whether loss of initiative, train of thought, energy, or interruption from outside forces in that brief interlude all can change. Yet wallowing in such looking back one can see what was accomplished and who you are. That is what came to me first read of this poem. It is in the space between that the character resides
A habitation of awareness. Thanks SorenποΈππ»
Well this is very thoughtful. We all need a Place.A sanctuary between the harsh world and the sensitive self. This is quite profound.Made me think
And for a lot of us here Poetry is that Placeππ»ποΈππ»

Thanks for the Fave @Cheeky Miss
You're welcome. Even the brief stint I enjoyed hanging out face to face locally some years ago, I'd request of everyone a copy of the poems they'd written and shared because each was so very beautiful. Now I favorite them on this forum. I've read and reread your charmingly pretty little number, so happy and content within its depths, I didn't know what else to say. Exquisite and so beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a delicious poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
Brilliant, my friend. And you put that "place" in the space between the first couplet and the last stanza. Mirrors the content and enhances the metaphor. A fave!
Glad that worked! Thanks for letting me know, friend π€©πππ»
