Blackness' light

sorenbarrett

It comes in waves destroys and saves, it bends
It fills space, brands history's face, waits and wends
Pulses and calms, alerts dark qualms, to infinity extends
From blackness woken it remains unbroken, all time transcends

Smoke broke, dreams flow in streams, it surges
A thought forgot cuts the knot, of lost desire's urges
Flame of shame ashes blame, singing its song in dirges
Leaving but not, devastation wrought, defects and beauty purges

New growth is loath to fulfil its oath, despite sun's coaxing hands
Drinking from earth's nipples, new ripples appear in parched drifting sands
Over acres, rolling breakers, new life blooms and expands
It crests as breasts dips in lips, in naked new lands

Pregnant the ground and all around, light out of dark
Big or small waves make up all from galaxy to quark

Soren, this is cosmic poetry at its most refined—quantum physics woven through metaphor, light bending through lyrical space. I hear the waves, the dualities, the crests and collapses of matter and meaning alike. What strikes me most is how you layer transformation—blame into ash, devastation into bloom, blackness into light. Science meets soul here. It both humbles and stirs the reader—at least this one! Well done, my friend! 🌹👏

But whenever darkness is there we know that light will be waiting for all soren.

First class work. "A thought forgot cuts the knot" and "Drinking from earth's nipples" could carry it all by themselves. Nice.
