In the warmth of a sunlit day,
We walk through the whispers of time,
With hearts that beat in sync,
And eyes that hold a universe of dreams.
Each moment, a fragile breath,
Filling the air with hopes and fears,
We find beauty in the shadows,
And comfort in silence’s soft embrace.
Life is a dance of love and loss,
Where every tear tells a story,
And laughter mingles with the echoes
Of days we wished would never end.
Beneath the sky, so vast and true,
We share the weight of our thoughts,
Turning the pain of a broken past
Into the strength that binds our souls.
In the night, stars flicker like memories,
Reminding us of moments that felt so real,
While the moon watches over our secrets,
And the darkness cradles our hidden fears.
Yet in this journey, we stand strong,
Facing the storms with open arms,
For every goodbye leads to a hello,
And every scar a mark of survival.

Welcome and a good weekend to you as well
Perhaps a weekβs break is not enough for the massesβ¦when is it ever?
Never.
And yet somewhere about us are unhearing ears... π§π»ποΈππ»
Precisely. There's none so deaf as those with ears.
A very beautiful write!!! Love it..
Thank you kindly, Salvia. You are much appreciated ππ»ποΈ
Must thank @Cheeky Missy for the Fave π€©ππ»ποΈ you did say why you do it... and this is just a way to acknowledge you as well π
This is too beautiful and deliciously evocative. Every single line is loaded, the stanzas trickling down the page like raindrops after the storm, solacing the thought of yonder momentarily. Superbly rendered with gorgeous imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you very much for sharing.
I had a kinda gut feel that this would be seen as such by your reading eye. Thank you kindly. Love the raindrops after imagery. β ππ»ποΈ
Rather, thank you again.
Wow! In just a few words, I lived a thousand memories, felt joy, love, magic, and pain. But then, I also gathered up the fragments hopeful that nothing was lost or wasted and that there are new memories, joys, loves, and magic ahead! Thank you for sharing.
That is such a wonderful poetic experience shared here. Thank you so much for dropping in and leaving such a wonderful word. ππ»ποΈ
Wonderful poem, my friend. That last stanza reminded me last night staring up at the stars, Mars, and the Gibbons moon. It was bright, beautiful, alluring. Much like this poem. Well done! A fave. πΉπ
We are situated rather poorly here to look up at the night sky. That and the weather make it doubly hard. Glad that past experiences can fuel poetry. Thanks kindly dear friend. ποΈππ»
