Notice of absence from arqios
π ππ» often and again, away ππ»ποΈ
π ππ» often and again, away ππ»ποΈ
A soul refrains from distant quests,
Throne, temple, summit—all forsaken.
The answer dwells, soft-spoken, near,
Its whispers carried on dawn’s breath.
Kindness becomes as oil of lamps,
A quiet deed ignites warm glow.
Within the dark, love forms a hymn,
Illuminating hearts, unseen.
Do not journey far,
The warmth you seek
is folded close,
Residing deep—within, it grows.

One does not need to go far to find the most important answers. A most beautiful poem of truth and inner warmth and safety as well as what is of most value. Nicely done Cryptic
Thanks Soren. I guess it can be said that most of what we truly need has already been supplied. Knowing this has ben of so much value in this fast changing world. Have an awesome weekend, my friend.ποΈππ»
I read this as a call for KIndness to be your guide and Love to enrich your life. A powerful and optimistic work.Enjoyable to read
Thanks mate. I think we gotta gotta gotta... else it's just airy fairy, pie in the sky kinda thing. I get the feeling that optimism can be overrated these days. Perhaps we couldn't be stuffed to care anymore, most days. Haha... I'm gonna go ramble on and on now...ππ»ποΈ
If we can see them, the answers are always closer than we first think, reading your notes, hope all is well, enjoyed the read
The saying, "right under our nose" is so clear when thought of in this way. Thank you so much PLποΈππ»
You are very welcome
Do not fret about what cannot be achieved
I suppose. Is that akin to "don't sweat the petty stuff nor pet the sweaty stuff"? Some of us still pitifully do. Thank you for the admonition.
Eww.... petting sweaty... my mind has been sent spinning... hahaha.... disinfect, scrub, clean!!!! Thank you for picking up that convo. The weekend is madeππ»ποΈ
Excellent write. The temple is within us all!
Thanks John for letting me know. We have been forewarned thus forearmed. ποΈππ»
I said summat, but it deleted it. Doh! I wanted to add another bit, saying it's increasingly light for us in the UK, until mid-June. Are you upside-down to us, in Australia? Or are we the ones that are upside-down?! lol. If this poem is about the literal weather. You know me - I hardly get any cryptic meanings to poems!
Thanks O... Fido was too slow to swat your hand from the delete button! Right side over, perhaps... North is south and South is north.... yep... you got it.ππ»ποΈ
Sounds very George Harrison in its sentiments . Nice one.
Oh, thatβs quite interesting; of the Fab Four I kinda favoured him the most even though I always was on about Lennon. Curious. Something to mull on. Thank you ππ» π
Indeed. The sun does always return, though it can feel like it won't. You are heading into the dreaded Fall/Winter months, aren't you? Prayers, my friend. I do know, as you well know, the struggle. Be well, my friend. πΉπ
Yes we are. Also have a recurring golf shoulder and I never played a hole in my life, lol; and tennis elbow to boot... never either played. How is you're back doing? Mine is radiating a humming pain where the tailbone dimples are. Is this the menu for aging people? π«’π€£
Yup! LOL! Mine is the lower right side of the back down to about the same place! LOL! Fun stuff! π€£ I am slowly recovering...and I mean slowly! Not sure what I did, but I did it! π€£ Hope yours feels better soon too!
I used to get excruciating cramps down that side you're suffering now. Not looking forward to meeting up with that ever again. ππ»ποΈ
And here's hoping you NEVER do!
We find answers in all the time of our lives arqios and they will always be there for us.
Andy
Yes, that is perfect Andy... so good.... thank you so muchππ»ποΈ
There's a different romance to the darkness, and then again, there's perspective. Where one sees charming vistas another sees misery. Shall you remind me of, "... that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us: for in Him we live, and move, and have our being;..." (Acts 17: 27-28a)? Regardless, put on the kettle and I hope you find an ability to enjoy it, no? Beautifully rendered with exquisite imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
"For we are also his offspring." His darkness is as light and brighter still... and the kettle is dark of the nether for enjoyment to be had shall boil over into an herbal sieve. Grateful for the imbibing of Sunday Word. ππ»ποΈ
