Does anyone know why in life
we do not get to choose our families
but we do get to choose those from outside whom we love?
is it because whilst alive
we have a privilege in choosing the ones we truly enjoy and love?
and if we are really lucky we get to have both?
and in the afterlife we simply go back to those we were born too
for better or for worse?
I wouldn't be a poet if I didn't put it out there would I?
I'm just turning my thoughts into reflections
in the minds of other poet's
because
the poet's mind is a slave after all?
and Einstein isn't here to answer my questions
I suspect, if he was…
he would have had some seriously interesting answers of his own.

A most wonderful question Teddy and for each they have their own answer, as for me I have resolved it by believing that all are my family, all men and women, animals and plants minerals, planets and stars and that I will never need to rejoin them for I will never leave only change form from time to time. A love4ly poem of great import. Very nice my friend.
Oh... my dear sorrenbarret, thank you for coming by here, I love your idea that you are a part of the universe in every form, that's clever. Isn't it wonderful reflection to ask who chooses who and what? And when? And how? forgive
my absence it's coming to the end of the Italian school year, very stressful as a mum and as a woman who works in the industry 🤣
Love the questions, Teddy. We all have our beliefs, but what good is a belief that hasn't been examined? And how dangerous or deadly are they? We've all seen that. So, my dear friend, I humbly thank you for the questions. Keep asking them. I love philosophizing all times of the day! 🤣🌹👏
And why when babies are born do they immediately start crying? 🤣 A feast to fester on thank you dear Tristan. 🌹
Indeed. Perhaps babies are really thinking, can we not and say we did? 🤣 A feast indeed,. You are most welcome, Teddy!
Those questions are often asked Teddy and we all have our own answers to offer.
Andy
Please do offer yours? Thank you dear Andy. 🌹
Teddy, imagine being reunited with your lineage. People from your family's history, those from long ago. It's actually very frightening. Your will stir the imagination of many.
