In hushed moments, where whispers gently drift,
As shadows play beneath the moonlit haze.
The world stirs softly, cradled in its gift.
Each heartbeat lingers, time begins to shift,
Memories unfurl like melodic lays.
In hushed moments, where whispers gently drift.
The breeze unfolds its secrets, faint and swift,
A symphony of night in velvet phase.
The world stirs softly, cradled in its gift.
The stars bear witness to the truths we sift,
Dreams rising high, like petals in a blaze.
In hushed moments, where whispers gently drift.
In twilight’s fold, we feel the strength uplift,
Welcoming change as shadows start their gaze.
The world stirs softly, cradled in its gift.
So let us treasure every tide that’s kissed,
In this grand waltz, our hearts find steady praise.
In hushed moments, where whispers gently drift,
The world stirs softly, cradled in its gift.

You are very welcome and i hope it does
This poem in gentle waves turns upon itself rocking the reader into a hypnotic trance. Its revolving lines like those waves return. Very nicely done Cryptic
The mesmerising quality of poetry has quite a hypnotic effect. I am so glad that we are still able to arrive at that effect these days. Thank you kindly ποΈππ»
βIn this grand waltzβ, I feel as though I watched it in the hushed moments. The tune, the very precise movements, the elegance, and the grace. Thank you, Arqios for sharing this piece. It was a splendid performance.
Many thanks for sharing your observation and experience. The journey of poetry is a joy in action. Words come before and after the fact. This poem is now complete. You are much appreciated. ππ»ποΈ
a masterpiece of rhyme cadence and theme. So many vivid images created here from velvet haze to grand waltz.Wonderful.
Thanks mate. I am so grateful to youποΈππ»
Halfway is neither here nor there.... as long as it keeps going forward...
Precisely. And I remain baffled none else favourited this.
There was an era when killing our little darlings was vogue, these days we are beloved to staunchly lobby and champion them which to me is quite demeaning although somewhat necessary in the current climate. πππ»
Ah.
This title reminded me of the "Velveteen Rabbit." Used to love that story as a kid. What a.wonderful and dream-like poem. πΉπ
Ah, there is at least now that I know of that remember that glorious tale! Iβm in good company πππ»
Indeed, my friend, one of my all time favorite stories. π
Amazing how literature as a legacy accompanies us and spans generations ππ»π
So beautiful bringing much to the heart and soul. I love how you apply rhyme rhythm and each word speaks here as a gift thank you!
Write more!
Thank you and welcome ππ»π
I wonder nobody favorited this, it is so exquisite and lovely, akin almost to a benediction, yet not, a lullaby of sorts, a soothing meditation which takes the unconscious soul to those higher realms we instinctively yearned to ascend to, whereat we sigh. Very, very gorgeous. I love it. Deliciously rendered with beautiful imagery and a soothing poignancy. Thank you so VERY much for sharing.
Thank you kindly. My suspicion is the over abundance of poetical supplyβ¦ social media has its downsides as well, for all its benefits. There are a gazillion voices waxing poetic out there. I remember the day when there were but a handful of bards and quite a range to choose from in that small number. But I may also be just randomly delusional. πππ»
Nah. You're not.
Hehe. Kind of you to say soπππ»
First of all what an amazing title I didn't even know these words existed ! As for the poem it's amazing with excellent imagery
It is reminiscent of that (now) old tale: the Velveteen Rabbit (1921) and an escape from the overused word: solitude. Thanks kindly πππ»
Oh thank you so much for taking the time to inform me about the words !that's very kind of you
I'm glad I learned more words now that I can use !
Most welcome Neilton ππ»ποΈ
