Notice of absence from arqios
π ππ» often and again, away ππ»ποΈ
π ππ» often and again, away ππ»ποΈ
Waves of fresh wind dance,
stirring thought.
Sunlight strikes,
and skies shift,
darkened and undone.
The canopy of words ripples,
foliage alive, in rhythmic undulation.
Cloud cover whispers,
lifting the finite chest,
boundless and fleeting.
We watch
as our thoughts glide along,
a wave swelling melody
woven in to crystal water streams.

Your poems always make me think. Besides the beautiful images created by your poetic words there appears a message here. My view is that the (wind) that stirs the thought that then (dances) the light goes off and thoughts (shift) though the darkness of the mind there is a (ripple) in the words (whispers) emerge then thoughts liberated (glide) unimpeded as a song or stream. Well it was just a first thought and try. Loved it
Thanks Soren! The unimpededness is superlatively liberating. ποΈππ»
I see a beautiful river coming down through a rainforest. I am reminded of Henry Kendall's poem "Bellbirds".Great poem.Captures the scene very well.

Very lovely and laden with imagery whose exquisite beauty lends a delicacy to the reflection. Beautifully rendered with superb imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
Heartfelt thanks CMππ»ποΈ
A pleasure to read, with a very abstract, thoughtful nature that I like. Has some great lines, like "foliage alive, in rhythmic undulation".
Thanks kindly. Sometimes my innate style runs agains the grain for most readers. You are much appreciatedππ»ποΈ

...the poetic glide is a slide to an excellent pond; thanks Andy ποΈππ»
Now I know where to come for the metaphorical poetics I love ! Plus the way you weave nature into the fabric. LOVE!
