Sound of its beat, trees move mighty arms shake rooted feet
Leaves swirl, tarp skirts twirl, cloud sweat falls as they unfurl
leaf shoes scuttle, dirt shuffle loose cloth a ruffle
Breathing hard, dust flies on the dance floor yard
Clothes come unpinned, the line skinned, naked but not sinned
In a dance with the wind

Thanks Dave appreciate the read and comment. Just hot air in this poem but am full of that
A rich painting of the start of a storm perfectly evoked which I felt from experience.
PS: there's probably a metaphor there somewhere of which I am totally oblivious!!π
Good write SB.
Thanks so much Orchi
Love the wind and love to dance. Love this metaphor even more...though this could just be taken literally too. I've witnessed such days around a clothes line. And guess whose childhood butt had to go pick the pins up? π€£ Excellent job, Soren! ππΉ
Thank you Tristan I always appreciate your reviews and support.

This is so alive, so rhythmic! So full of energy. It paints wind as a force of motion and freedom. I love to feel the wind. I live next to the mountains, and the wind is so wonderful. This is excellent! I enjoy reading about the wind.
