I walked so far but there is so little I know
The glimmer of a distant star in each crystal of fallen snow
Warmth of sun as it has just begun, melts in trickles as honey flows
And when day is done, 'or field of felts, moon tickles touch in blue runny glows
A dewdrop sleeps atop resting leaves
In the pop of a cocoon a life does swap and never grieves
The lingering memory of a fading kiss we can not dismiss, melting in the morning taste of a peach bitten
Mingling each moment of bliss, aborning without haste as a poem written

This is quite beautiful.Packed with powerful imagery. Mingling each moment to get a poem written and a Life lived. An enjoyable read
Thank you David for your read and moist kind words of support they mean a lot.
"there is so little I know..." We think we have seen a lot, we have gone through a lot. Still, life surprises us everyday. We get surprises even at home, even from people we have known for years... Life is full of surprises. In fact, the signs were always there, it is just that we did not notice, we did not know where to look.
Thank you Soman for your review. Yes that is the starting point, what we think we know as opposed to what we really do. Arrogance is such a weakness. I deeply appreciate your support
I am always staggered by how little I actually know in relation to others, but one thing I do know is arrogance is not a nice quality, enjoyed the read
Thank you Tobani those that think they know a lot know nothing, those that know little know much. I appreciate the review and your most kind words
You are very welcome
This is a very beautiful piece of writing with vivid & evocative imagery, capturing the essence of - seasonal transitions, nature's beauty, life cycles & ephemeral joy. Very well written 🌹

You got it at its core my friend. I know next to nothing but that does not stop me seeing and feeling. Your words are most appreciated
Amen, my friend. Same here. You are most welcome!
A very enjoyable read, beautifully said, Soren. The poem serves as a profound reflection on the human experience, likely crafted in a contemporary context, to inspire those who have embarked on a journey of self-discovery, both physically and emotionally, and reveled in the beauty and complexity of life. Your poem transcends definition, resonating deeply with anyone who has experienced moments of introspection and glimpsed the fleeting beauty that surrounds us. You invite readers to pause, breathe, and cherish the small, often overlooked moments that profoundly shape our understanding of existence.
Thank you Friendship for your review and interpretation it is valued and deeply appreciated

This poem is so beautiful. "A dewdrop sleeps atop resting leaves" and "The glimmer of a distant star in each crystal of fallen snow" are two lines among the other that bring this poem to a poetic height. Excellent write. I loved it.
