A Sprinkling of Philosophical Petals

Teddy.15

Soulmates don't find eachother
they have forever been entwined

Where there are ancient walls of time's past
there will also be treasures

If the moon can rise from the ashes of the sun
the sun can also rise from the ashes of grief

When traveling the world
only with deaf ears
must you take advice from a recluse
there will be no greater lesson

When your soul cries, listen to it
the tears will either drown you
or keep you hydrated from drought

Having empathy for another soul
shows your selflessness and compassion.

True words, eloquently stated, my friend!

Sorry to be largely absent from MPS, but I am writing nothing but songs at the moment. I haven't written a poem in months. Also, my youngest sister is very ill, so I don't feel like writing anything right now. Hope you are keeping well.

Teddy, from 1 to 6, I loved them all, especially 1, 3,4,5,6, but the first one above all. There is wisdom, hope, and knowledge. This is definitely a favorite. - Phil A.

not one but a barrage of good messages .
maybe souls are entwined for the lucky ones- maybe there's a new one for those who keep experimenting, and changing partners in different stages of life
would a recluse be able to give proper guidance, not having interacted with others and gained experience ?
agree - when your soul cries - give it both your ears, and your heart and mind, and listen to its pleas
Finally empathizing with another does show your compassion..
                great job done here

                • Teddy.15

Dearest NafisaSB so I believe that those who have a soulmate are forever entwined not all of us have this and those who do may for many reasons never know them. There are others who are lucky to find more than one, yes for the recluse it is pointless giving advice if one has never seen outside in more ways than one. Thank you so much, I'm so glad you have enjoyed my scribbles ๐ŸŒน

                  • NafisaSB

they are more than scribbles - they are words spoken from your heart, and captured on paper, so will stay for eternity
have many more such productive days..Amen
