Argh! Not cloudy tonight please
Or we won't see the strawberry moon
If I don't see it
I'll wait in me garden for 18 and half years
Until the next one!
It's 'sad', I know
But that's all I'll do
Sit in the garden all the time
Not make a move
Except for necessary things
I'll be there - you'll find me
Through Spring and Summer, Autumn and Winter
Well If I don't do that
I might miss the next moon
Around December 2043
Best to be prepared, I say
Or even if it's cloudless this evening
KP may distract me and say
'Any more money for my botox treatments, please?'
She'll spoil it for me
She'll ask me that
As soon as there's a break in any clouds
To make sure I'll miss the moon
But she'll suffer for doing that
I'll feed her more of Fido's bones
While he and I have roast dinner every day!
LOL.

Hope you saw it Orchi.
Boohoo! It clouded over. Didn't see it. lol.
A fine write. I feel your pain. I would love to get into star-gazing but with light-pollution and cloud cover, I don't stand chance.
Thanks Tom.
