That Cup Of Coffee.

Goldfinch60

So here we are

At the end of the first half,

The first half of the year,

Six months more of my life.

The six months started cold

And have ended very hot,

And during that time we loved,

My lover and I just loved,

Loved being with each other.

The second half is before us

And once more we will love,

Love from the hot to the cold.

Then another year will be gone,

Another year of our wonderful life,

Our wonderful life together

And we will be there looking forward,

Looking forward to many more,

Many more years together

With our love getting stronger

As it has done ever since that day,

That day I asked her out,

Asked her out for that cup of coffee.

Good write Gold. KP asked me out for coffee when we first met. She knows I don't like coffee much. Things went downhill from then on! lol.
