Probability

sorenbarrett

If you wait it will happen, a little longer and it will happen here
All things certain behind an infinite curtain where there is no year
Time is relative to what one wants to do, it does not pass until we're through
A tunnel put to the eye, a light at the end as the darkness goes by, a view
no beginning or end no after or before just being
no real no dreams or illusion's delusions just seeing

    I always wonder if we can really understand Time. Does it even exist? A interesting poem that made me think that it is just seeing.Well done compadre

      I get confused regarding time, some say time is a collection of stages and those stages continue even in afterlife, so effectively time never ends, then there are those who think we don't have enough time to do what we want before time runs out, an interesting and enjoyable read

        Thank you Tobani we are all confused even physics. Some say it is linear, others see it as circular, some way there are stages, some see it as a dimension others a force. No one knows all different views maybe they are all right just different perspectives.

          Well written, Soren, your poem explores the concept of time and existence, suggesting that reality is shaped by individual perception and desire. It posits that events are inevitable if one is patient, and that the journey through life is marked by a subjective experience of time. The poet is provoking thought about the nature of reality and time, encouraging readers to reflect on their own perceptions and experiences. It seeks to illuminate the idea that understanding and patience can lead to clarity and enlightenment in the face of life's uncertainties. { the nature of time!}

            Thank you Friendship for the review and interpretation. In one point of view time does not exist but all things are present at once and it is only our perspective that determines where we are in that continuum that is but the whole of time.

            Time is this fluctuating probable of which our ego is the center .

              Soren, this feels like a meditation unfolding in layers—time slipping between perception and possibility. That closing movement especially…“no real, no dreams”...it lingers. There’s something eternal humming beneath these lines. Beautifully done, as always. 🌹👏 A fave for sure.

              Time is perception, and perception is unique to each of us. The reality I think, is what we do with it. A very illuminating and thought provoking write!

                Thank you Bella I appreciate your review and kind words of encouragement and support
